The Nasty Trick (La Vacherie) April 2001

When we first saw the house it looked quite good but an internal examination followed and soon made us realise how much work there was to do. The roof leaks, the electrics are old, the water pipes provide a waterfall every time we turn on the supply, the floor in one room is rock, there is no heating system - need we go on?

we slept here	looking out	too hot outside
storage radiator under the window	under the boxing turned out to be a railway line
